We are a group of peace thinkers…
A pioneering group implementing Transformative Peacebuilding Methods, transforming Peace Science, creating a 3rd Side and advancing micro-meso-macro structural changes… for a common future.
Global sustainable development via the 2030 Agenda and Paris Agreement is the basis for a just and better future for all. We have a responsibility to upcoming generations, to provide a life worth living on a healthy planet with sustainable economic recovery.
We are stronger together, committed to: open, resilient and gender-equitable societies and human rights; defending inclusive and participative democracies; social participation; freedom of science and of the press; tackling disinformation; and promoting digital order and digital progress.
This needs a co-working process which aims to:
- provide useful tools for mobilizing internal and external groups within a specific space in the nature
- establish mutual trust
- analyze how inclusive the process of problem solving, planning, design, management, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination is
- understand the connections between psychology, culture, basic values, shared history beliefs are.
“Creating a 3rd side”
Inclusivity
We cordially invite everyone to participate in our peace approach, regardless of age, gender, political views, or origin. Previous knowledge of gardening or peace work is not required.
Strengthening Women+ and Diverse Groups
We encourage women in particular to participate in peacebuilding, to further strengthen their social significance. It is important to include their creativity and vast collective knowledge about plants and seeds, medicinal properties, etc.
Peace
We believe that demilitarization and decarbonization are connected, and are determined to create and maintain peace. The framework we have created, should be understood as a protected space. We do not tolerate defamation or violence towards other people, neither in language, nor in behavior.
Climate justice
In our peace approach, we feel obliged to contribute to more climate justice in an urban environment. We would like to contribute to the reflection on a more sustainable and just life, and to a more conscious behavior.
Biodiversity
The Peace Garden is intended to contribute to the greatest possible biodiversity in urban areas. Nature is a network of the most diverse forms of life; everything is connected with everything else. With the Peace Garden, we respect the dependence of humans on nature, as part of nature.
