We are a group of peace thinkers.

We are pioneer group and volunteers who can advance social innovation and micro to macro structural changes for a common future.

Global sustainable development with the 2030 Agenda in mind is the basis for a just and better future for all. We know that we have particular responsibility for upcoming generations worth living in for all people, on a healthy planet, with sustainable economic recovery, the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement in mind.

We offer nature-based and culturally sensitive solutions by the help of peace science to practice methods for sustainable and just cities. We believe that we are stronger together: committing to open, resilient and gender-equitable societies and human rights, defending liberal and participative democracies, social participation, freedom of science and of the press, tackling disinformation, promoting the digital order and digital progress.

This needs a co-working process which aims to:

  • provide useful tools for mobilizing internal & external groups within a specific space in the nature
  • establish mutual trust
  • analyze how inclusive the process of problem solving, planning, design, management, implementation and evaluation and dissemination are
  • understand psychology, culture, basic values, shared history & beliefs connections.

Social innovation

A commitment to human rights, the rule of law, civil and political rights, and economic, social and cultural participation for all, to gender equality and social security, as well as against polarisation and the curtailment of freedom of expression, freedom of the press and freedom of assembly, and to an inclusive global digital order, will therefore guide our actions during the co-working process.

Our collaborative work will help to build bridges (mediation – negotiation – education – support pillars) between several actors and trigger unusual partnership.

Strengthening gender equality

We also want to advance equality between women and men and non-binary people in the cities and work to ensure that all people have the same opportunities in all areas. We would like to encourage marginalized people in particular to participate in any project and further strengthen their social significance.

It is important to us to include their creativity and their great collective knowledge during the eco-social transformation process.

Nature-based solutions

We think that urban development would play a huge role in serving the public good and making our societies and economies more resilient and cohesive if communities were given the space to develop their own self-confidence in order to tackle climate change as a driver of poverty, hunger, gender inequality, conflict and displacement around the world.

First of all, efforts should be made to reconcile those communities with nature. This shows the necessity of nature-based solutions in our collective works. In this regard, we want to share our knowledge and experiences “from ambition to implementation” process with the healers and change-makers.

We want to work with our partners to swift implementation in the field of biodiversity protection, linking up with the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP 15), the main part of which is scheduled to take place this year in Kunming.

It is possible to develop a common understanding that works with inclusiveness.

1.

Inclusive method of urban transition

It can apply an inclusive method of just urban transition that respects the diversity of cultural backgrounds and ethnicity.

2.

Environmentally friendly

It can change the behavior and attitudes of those involved towards an environmentally friendly life.

3.

Collective struggle

It can convey the new meaning of “collective struggle for a common future” in different languages, cultures and sacred places.

Principles

We have shared values to believe.

Inclusivity

We cordially invite everyone to participate in our peace project, regardless of age, gender, political views, or origin. Previous knowledge of gardening or peace work is not required.

Strengthening of women

We would like to encourage women in particular to participate in the project and further strengthen their social significance. It is important to us to include their creativity and their great collective knowledge about plants and seeds, medicinal properties etc.

Peace

We are determined to create and maintain peace. The framework we have created should be understood as a protected space. We do not tolerate defamation or violence towards other people, neither in language nor in behaviour.

Climate justice

In our peace project we feel obliged to contribute to more climate justice in an urban environment. We would like to contribute to the reflection on a more sustainable and just life and to a more conscious behaviour.

Biodiversity

The Peace Garden is intended to contribute to the greatest possible biodiversity in urban areas. Nature is a network of the most diverse forms of life, everything is connected with everything else. With the Peace Garden, we respect the dependence of humans on nature as part of nature.

People dedicated to change, peace, and justice.
